The award recognizes Yellow Card’s groundbreaking work in shaping the future of digital and cross-border payments.

Yellow Card,  Africa’s leading cryptocurrency and financial technology company, has achieved a major milestone by winning the Grand Prix Payments Award at Money20/20 USA, one of the world’s most prestigious events in the global fintech and payments industry.

The award recognizes Yellow Card’s groundbreaking work in shaping the future of digital and cross-border payments. The company’s CEO, Chris Maurice, accepted the award on behalf of the entire team, marking a proud moment for the fast-growing African fintech.

In his remarks, Maurice highlighted that the achievement reflects Yellow Card’s mission to make financial access seamless and inclusive across Africa. The recognition comes as the company continues to expand its payment solutions across multiple markets, bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital assets.

Yellow Card’s Grand Prix win places it alongside some of the world’s most innovative companies in the payments sector. Other honorees in the category included Mynt and ZeroHash, who took the Gold award; Ant Group and SupportPay, who earned Silver; and Agree.com, Branch, and Socure, who received Bronze.

The company expressed its gratitude to its partners, customers, and team members for their role in achieving this recognition, stating that the award serves as motivation to push the boundaries of payments innovation even further.

This victory cements Yellow Card’s position as a key player in the evolution of digital payments, not just in Africa but on the global stage, showcasing the continent’s growing influence in the fintech ecosystem.
