ST DIGITAL, a leading pan-African digital services provider, has entered into a strategic technology partnership with OVHcloud, Europe’s leader in trusted cloud infrastructure, to deliver sovereign, high-performance cloud solutions across Africa.
The partnership will enable African enterprises to access secure, locally hosted cloud services that comply with the highest international standards for data protection and compliance, including GDPR, ISO, PCI DSS, and SECNUM certifications. Services will be hosted within ST DIGITAL’s Tier III-certified data centers located in Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, and Cameroon, ensuring that African data remains within the continent.
By integrating OVHcloud’s On-Prem Cloud Platform (OPCP) into its regional infrastructure, ST DIGITAL aims to offer a competitive alternative to international cloud providers while prioritizing local control, affordability, and regulatory alignment. The collaboration reinforces ST DIGITAL’s commitment to advancing Africa’s digital sovereignty, ensuring that enterprises and public institutions maintain control over their data and digital assets.
The alliance also focuses on sustainability, innovation, and local empowerment, combining OVHcloud’s global technological expertise with ST DIGITAL’s in-depth understanding of the African market.
