She also highlighted national initiatives such as JobInTech, which provides training and upskilling in digital professions, and various programs designed to empower children and youth in the fields of AI and emerging technologies. In her remarks, the minister invited Gabon to participate in the upcoming GITEX Africa exhibition to be held in Morocco, underscoring it as an opportunity to deepen collaboration and exchange expertise.
For his part, Minister Mark Alexander Dumba commended Morocco’s leadership in digital transformation and praised the country’s African and international standing in the digital and technological sectors. He expressed Gabon’s interest in benefiting from Morocco’s successful experience and developing a model partnership in digital innovation and capacity building. The two ministers agreed to launch joint programs focused on artificial intelligence training, data analysis, and digital skills development, including initiatives to support remote training through Moroccan digital platforms.
The meeting concluded with Minister Al-Falah Al-Sagroshny reaffirming that Morocco remains open to all African initiatives aimed at building a cohesive digital continent, one rooted in digital trust, technological sovereignty, and youth empowerment, in line with the Supreme Royal Directives.
