CANAL+ Announces Global Communication Restructure Following MultiChoice Integration
The reorganization strengthens CANAL+’s global communication network, aligning its structure with the company’s expanding international footprint following the strategic integration with MultiChoice.
Following the recent combination with MultiChoice, CANAL+ has announced a reorganization of its Brand and Communication Department, introducing a new international structure based on two key geographical divisions — Africa, and Europe/Asia.
Hala Saab has been appointed Director of Communication for Africa, expanding her current role to include English- and Portuguese-speaking MultiChoice markets. She will now lead all CANAL+ communication activities across the continent. Saab, a graduate of ISC Paris with a specialization in Strategic Marketing, joined CANAL+ in 2001 and has since held several leadership roles, including Head of Product Communication and Director of International Communications.
Armelle Masson takes on the role of Director of Communication for Europe and Asia, overseeing CANAL+ communication operations across Europe (excluding France), Vietnam, and Myanmar. Masson, who holds a master’s in media and Multimedia from Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, joined CANAL+ in 2005 and has served in multiple communication and marketing capacities, most recently as Communication Manager at CANAL+ International.
Both Saab and Masson will report to Emilie Pietrini, Chief Brand and Communication Officer of CANAL+.
In France, the Brand and Communication Department will continue to operate under two complementary divisions: Céline Pontygayot, who leads Advertising Communication, and Olivia Abehassera, who heads Corporate and Programmes Communication.
