Airtel Tanzania Restores Internet Service After October Outage

The company stated that service quality is continuing to improve and encouraged customers to continue enjoying fast internet connectivity.

Airtel Tanzania  has announced the restoration of its internet service following a disruption that affected users from October 29 to November 3, 2025. The company stated that service quality is continuing to improve and encouraged customers to continue enjoying fast internet connectivity.

In a notice to customers, Airtel apologized for the inconvenience caused by the outage. The company also confirmed that it will compensate customers who had active megabytes (MBs) or purchased data bundles that were not utilized during the service interruption. The reimbursement process for affected users is scheduled to begin on November 6, 2025.

Airtel Tanzania expressed appreciation to its customers for their understanding and loyalty, assuring them of continued service improvements.
