MTN Business Botswana and Ethica Introduce Smart Internet Solution to Boost Network Resilience

Through this collaboration, MTN Business Botswana has introduced MTN SDIA (Software Defined Intelligent Access), a solution powered by Ethica’s CloudAccess platform, designed to deliver a new benchmark of connectivity performance for businesses across the country.

MTN Business Botswana  has announced a new partnership with Canadian software company Ethica  to strengthen the resilience and reliability of its managed internet services for enterprise customers. Through this collaboration, MTN Business Botswana has introduced MTN SDIA (Software Defined Intelligent Access), a solution powered by Ethica’s CloudAccess platform, designed to deliver a new benchmark of connectivity performance for businesses across the country.

As Botswana continues its digital transformation journey, the demand for faster, more dependable, and seamless internet connectivity has grown rapidly. Businesses are increasingly reliant on stable and high-performing networks to support digital applications and operations. However, last-mile connectivity challenges persist, particularly for small and medium enterprises operating in remote or underserved areas.

MTN SDIA directly addresses these challenges by enabling uninterrupted internet connectivity through intelligent traffic management. The solution automatically switches to alternative network links when one connection fails, ensuring continuous operation even during outages or disruptions. It combines multiple internet connections into a unified, reliable network to enhance speed, stability, and overall user experience.
With MTN SDIA, enterprise customers benefit from greater business resilience, improved productivity, and optimized performance during network interruptions.

The solution also enables high levels of service assurance, providing MTN with better tools to meet service-level commitments and customer satisfaction goals.
