With FTTR, Openserve continues to redefine in-home and business connectivity — combining speed, stability, and smart control to power the next generation of connected living and working.

Openserve  has introduced its Fibre-to-the-Room (FTTR) solution — an all-optical WiFi system designed to bring ultra-fast fibre connectivity directly to every room in homes and business premises.

As South Africa’s demand for high-bandwidth applications such as online learning, video streaming, eSports, virtual reality, and smart offices continues to rise, the FTTR solution ensures users enjoy high-speed, low-latency, and stable connectivity across all spaces.

By extending Openserve’s existing fibre infrastructure to multiple rooms, the FTTR setup uses WiFi 6 master/slave units and all-optical components to deliver a consistent gigabit experience. This eliminates coverage blind spots and ensures smooth, reliable access for multiple users and devices simultaneously.

In addition to performance, Openserve’s FTTR solution integrates end-to-end intelligent management via the NCE platform and Openserve FTTR Connect app, allowing users to monitor network performance in real time, manage bandwidth, and activate parental controls for safer online experiences.

With FTTR, Openserve continues to redefine in-home and business connectivity — combining speed, stability, and smart control to power the next generation of connected living and working.
