Azercosmos Marks 10 Years of Connecting Africa with Satellite Innovation
Azercosmos , the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, proudly marked a decade of operations in Africa by participating in Africa Tech Festival 2025, the continent’s largest and most influential technology event.
Held in Cape Town from November 11 to 13, the festival brought together more than 15,000 industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the world.
For the past ten years, Azercosmos has helped power digital transformation across Africa by providing satellite communications that reach beyond traditional infrastructure. Azercosmos’ satellite services have played a vital role in connecting communities, empowering progress, and unlocking new opportunities across the continent.
During the festival, Azercosmos showcased Azconnexus, its advanced satellite broadband service designed to meet the region’s growing need for high-speed, secure communication. Whether it’s a rural village or a moving transport fleet, Azconnexus offers consistent coverage, helping bridge Africa’s digital divide.
