Egypt Launches Digital Training Programs to Strengthen Local Tech Talent
The partnership focuses on preparing students, graduates, and local workforce members for the demands of the modern labor market through specialized training programs, technical seminars, conferences, and competitions.
In a move to strengthen state institution collaboration and enhance digital competencies across Egypt, the National Institute of Communications (NTI) under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with the Center for Creativity and Excellence of the Suez Canal Authority, has launched a strategic initiative aimed at empowering the technological capabilities of Ismailia Governorate.
The partnership focuses on preparing students, graduates, and local workforce members for the demands of the modern labor market through specialized training programs, technical seminars, conferences, and competitions. In addition, the collaboration will include joint research projects and evaluations of emerging digital technologies that support the activities of the Suez Canal Authority.
Following the signing of the protocol, Dr. Ahmed Khattab and Dr. Yasser Al-Shenji, Director of the Department of Communications and Information Regulation at the Suez Canal Authority, visited the Center for Creativity and Excellence. They were accompanied by senior officials from both organizations to review ongoing training initiatives under the partnership.
Key programs include the Egyptian Talent Academy, which prepares trainees for global labor markets with accredited certifications, and the Egypt Digital Youth for Freelancing program, which offers practical training and skill development for the freelance digital economy.
This collaboration underscores the Egyptian government’s commitment to empowering youth, fostering an integrated digital society, and positioning Ismailia as a hub for technological innovation and creativity.
