Malawi Launches Inclusive Digital Skills Program for the Visually Impaired

The initiative, held at the Malawi School of Government – Kanengo Campus, aims to equip participants with essential digital skills and access to assistive technologies, promoting greater independence and opportunities.

UNDP Malawi,  in partnership with the ST Foundation  and the Malawi Government, has launched a 15-day Inclusive Digital Skills Training program for persons with visual impairments. The initiative, held at the Malawi School of Government – Kanengo Campus, aims to equip participants with essential digital skills and access to assistive technologies, promoting greater independence and opportunities.

The launch event highlighted the importance of inclusive innovation and collaboration in creating a more equitable digital future. The program reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of ability, can thrive in an increasingly connected world.
