The Deputy Minister of Information, Communication Technology and Postal Services, David Yauyau Jankuchi, has joined telecommunication regulators and policymakers from around the world in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC), which began on Monday.

Yauyau Jankuchi is attending the twelve-day conference alongside representatives from the National Communication Authority (NCA), the Media Authority, Civil Society Organizations, and the Secretary General of the Universal Service and Access Fund.

This year’s WTDC places strong emphasis on expanding global digital inclusion, with key discussions centered on connecting underserved communities, enhancing rural broadband access, advancing digital skills for youth and women, promoting green and climate-smart ICT solutions, and strengthening cybersecurity frameworks.
