Algeria Boosts Fiber Optic Skills With Hands-On Training for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Algerie Telecom, in collaboration with the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit (ANGEM), recently hosted a specialized training course at its Operational Directorate in Tlemcen. The program targeted former trainees from various provinces who are preparing to establish their own micro-enterprises in the field of optical fibers. The initiative reflects the ongoing partnership between Algeria Telecom and ANGEM to support youth entrepreneurship and technological innovation.
The training combines theoretical lessons with practical applications, covering the latest technologies in network installation. Participants also gain hands-on experience through field activities, including connecting customers with Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology. The program aims to enhance the technical skills and entrepreneurial capabilities of attendees, preparing them to successfully launch their own micro-enterprises in the optical fiber sector.
As part of Algeria Telecom’s national strategy, similar training sessions are being conducted across the country.
