The latest release introduces open APIs for governed data, automated field documentation, AI-assisted data quality rules, and collaborative remediation tools, enabling data teams to work faster and more efficiently.

Qlik®,  a global leader in data integration, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI), announced significant new capabilities in Qlik Talend Cloud® designed to make trusted data more accessible, usable, and actionable across organizations. The latest release introduces open APIs for governed data, automated field documentation, AI-assisted data quality rules, and collaborative remediation tools, enabling data teams to work faster and more efficiently.

The new capabilities allow data and analytics teams to publish secure, standards-based API endpoints for governed data products with a single click, enabling seamless use of trusted data in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, and other internal applications. Users can also auto-document dataset fields at scale, improving data discoverability and reducing manual documentation efforts.

Additionally, an AI assistant proposes data-quality rules based on the profile of datasets, helping teams cover more quality checks with less effort. Qlik Talend Cloud also supports agentic-enabled, sprint-style remediation and collaborative validation, allowing business, data, and AI teams to resolve data issues quickly and transparently.

“Customers want flexibility. If your best data is stuck in one tool, it becomes a bottleneck. Open, standards-based APIs let customers use the same governed data wherever work happens. AI-driven stewardship removes repetitive tasks and helps teams deliver trusted outcomes faster.”

Drew Clarke, EVP of Product & Technology, Qlik

Data Product APIs, built on open standards, are available now. Auto-describe fields and the Data Quality Rule Assistant are rolling out, while the Data Stewardship Early Access program is now open for enrollment. Interested users can start a trial via Qlik Talend Cloud or learn more on the company’s data quality and governance resources page.

Qlik serves over 40,000 customers worldwide, helping organizations transform complex data into actionable insights. Its Talend Cloud platform integrates AI, machine learning, and enterprise-grade analytics, enabling teams to govern, integrate, and analyze data efficiently while uncovering insights to support faster, better-informed decisions.
