TelOne Unveils “TelOne Connect,” Bringing Landline Calling to Smartphones and Desktops
TelOne describes the platform as a seamless digital communications solution designed to empower both individuals and businesses as they grow in an increasingly mobile digital environment.
TelOne has unveiled TelOne Connect, a locally developed digital calling platform that introduces a modern way for Zimbabweans to access landline services directly from their smartphones and desktops. The platform was launched by the company’s Chief Executive, marking a significant milestone in TelOne’s drive toward digital transformation.
During the launch, TelOne highlighted that TelOne Connect represents the company’s commitment to future-proof communication solutions—built to withstand vandalism, harsh weather, and other disruptions that have historically affected traditional landline infrastructure.
As Zimbabwe works toward achieving its Vision 2030 Upper Middle Income Status, the CEO emphasized the importance of communication tools that enable mobility, entrepreneurship, and digital empowerment. TelOne Connect aims to support these national aspirations by offering users a flexible and modern communication experience.
According to the company, the development of TelOne Connect was centered on improving the customer journey. TelOne has upgraded its systems, enhanced onboarding processes, trained its support teams, and refined activation procedures to ensure that the platform is simple, fast, and user-friendly.
