The regional cyber exercise is designed to strengthen cooperation among Arab states in cybersecurity and enhance both the technical and administrative readiness of participating countries to respond to cyberattacks and manage digital crises.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization  has participated in the inaugural Arab Cyber Exercise held in Doha, Qatar. The event was organized by Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Cyber Security Ministers.

The regional cyber exercise is designed to strengthen cooperation among Arab states in cybersecurity and enhance both the technical and administrative readiness of participating countries to respond to cyberattacks and manage digital crises. It marks a significant step toward creating a safer, more resilient Arab cyber environment.

Mauritania’s delegation included representatives from key technical and administrative departments: Machian Aswed Ahmed (attached to the Minister’s Council), Zeinab Bonn (Consultant for Strategic Affairs and Digital Inclusion), Didi Al-Hussein (Assistant Director for System and Security Administration), Al-Moktar Salem Al-Nahi (Head of System and Security Administration), and Hussein Ahmed (Department Head, Administration and Security).

Throughout the training day, participants engaged in coordinated practical activities, including a presentation on the objectives and guidelines of the exercise and hands-on simulations of cyberattack response scenarios. These activities helped strengthen the capabilities of Arab technical teams and improved preparedness in this critical domain.
