Sudan’s Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, has emphasized the critical need for the comprehensive activation of the Baldna digital platform to accelerate the country’s digital transformation across government institutions. His remarks came during a high-level meeting focused on the platform’s rollout, attended by the Ministers of Communications and Digital Transformation, Industry and Trade, and senior officials from relevant government bodies.

The session highlighted the importance of equipping state institutions with the necessary tools and resources to ensure the Baldna platform operates effectively, facilitating secure data exchange and streamlined government transactions. Participants also stressed the need for strong inter-agency coordination to implement digital initiatives, aiming to improve public service delivery, enhance government efficiency, and support national economic development.

The Prime Minister’s call reflects Sudan’s ongoing commitment to integrating technology across state operations and strengthening the digital infrastructure required for a modern, citizen-focused government.
