Madagascar Officially Launches “Salon Digital Madagascar by GOTICOM” to Boost Digital Innovation

The launch aligns with the government’s ongoing objectives to encourage and support digital development through partnerships and initiatives such as GOTICOM.

On December 12, 2025, the Ministry of Digital Technology, Posts, and Telecommunications (MNDPT) officially inaugurated the “Salon Digital Madagascar by GOTICOM”, a digital exhibition bringing together professionals from across Madagascar’s tech and digital sectors. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Mr. Andriamampiadana Mahefa, Minister of Digital Technology, Posts, and Telecommunications, and Mr. Rasoarahona Andriniaina, Minister of Industry and Private Sector Development.

In his opening remarks, the Minister of MNDPT highlighted the strategic importance of the event, noting that it represents a significant step in strengthening Madagascar’s digital ecosystem. He emphasized that the participation of active and daring youth is a major asset, demonstrating that it is possible to build a solid and sustainable digital environment in the country.

The launch aligns with the government’s ongoing objectives to encourage and support digital development through partnerships and initiatives such as GOTICOM. The exhibition provides a platform for collaboration, innovation, and showcasing digital solutions across Madagascar, reinforcing the country’s commitment to advancing its digital economy.
