Djibouti Launches G2B Digital Platform to Boost SMEs and Entrepreneurship
This design aims to streamline business creation, improve access to digital services, and enhance the competitiveness of Djibouti’s national economy.
The Republic of Djibouti officially launched the design phase of its G2B integrated digital platform on December 15, 2025, a strategic initiative aimed at supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MPMEs) and advancing the country’s Vision 2035.
The platform is structured around three key pillars: a Startups portal, the G2B digital counter, and an extension of the one-stop counter, which integrates government services with electronic payment capabilities. This design aims to streamline business creation, improve access to digital services, and enhance the competitiveness of Djibouti’s national economy.
H.E. Mariam Hamadou Ali, Minister of Digital Economy and Innovation, described the platform as “a cornerstone of digital transformation, facilitating business creation and access to digital services for youth and entrepreneurs.” H.E. Safia Mohamed Ali, Secretary of State for Investment and Development of the Private Sector, emphasized the platform’s strategic role in improving the business climate and strengthening economic competitiveness.
H.E. Denisa-Elena Ionete, Ambassador of the European Union to Djibouti, reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to providing technical and financial support to ensure the platform’s success as part of a broader restructuring program for digital governance and SME development.
The launch of the G2B platform represents a major step in Djibouti’s digital economy strategy, providing businesses with integrated, user-friendly access to government services while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across the country.
