The move aims to help enterprises and developers harness the full potential of agentic AI to optimize cloud operations and application performance.

Dynatrace  has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Google Cloud,  positioning itself as a launch partner for Gemini CLI extensions and Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud’s new agentic AI platform. The move aims to help enterprises and developers harness the full potential of agentic AI to optimize cloud operations and application performance.

The Dynatrace Gemini CLI Extension allows developers to access observability insights and root-cause analysis directly within their terminal, enabling monitoring, debugging, and optimization without leaving existing workflows. Complementing this, Gemini Enterprise integrates AI agents with Dynatrace’s observability platform through Google’s Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol, facilitating real-time collaboration to detect, resolve, and prevent issues across complex environments.

To simplify adoption, Dynatrace’s AI-driven integrations are now available via Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing enterprises to deploy and scale agentic AI solutions securely within their existing Google Cloud infrastructure. Dynatrace is among the first observability partners with a Google-validated A2A and Gemini Enterprise-compatible agent, confirming compliance with Google Cloud’s performance and reliability standards.

Jay Snyder, SVP of Partners and Alliances at Dynatrace, said the expanded partnership underscores the company’s leadership in AI-powered observability and its commitment to transforming cloud operations. Industry analyst Mitch Ashley of Futurum Research highlighted that the integration reduces operational friction and accelerates enterprise adoption of agentic AI, providing scalable business benefits.
