Sama X to Provide Reliable High-Speed Internet Across Jordan with Starlink LEO Satellites
The move aims to simplify access to high-speed, reliable internet for individuals, enterprises, and public sector organizations, including in remote northern and southern regions of Jordan.
Sama X, a new venture and authorized global reseller of SpaceX’s Starlink , has received licensing from Jordan’s Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) to offer Starlink satellite internet services across the Kingdom. The move aims to simplify access to high-speed, reliable internet for individuals, enterprises, and public sector organizations, including in remote northern and southern regions of Jordan.
Launched earlier this year, Sama X focuses on next-generation connectivity solutions, providing low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite internet that ensures dependable primary or backup connectivity. Services are expected to benefit a wide range of users, from NGOs in camps to digital government services in rural communities, classrooms, logistics operations, and healthcare facilities in underserved areas.
Sama X combines Starlink’s advanced satellite constellation—the most sophisticated LEO system globally, offering fiber-like speeds without reliance on ground-based networks—with local expertise, turnkey solutions, rapid installation, and a 24/7 bilingual support center.
The company is backed by Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately owned firms in the Middle East, providing the resources to deliver complex technology solutions effectively. Sama X aims to support Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision by expanding high-speed internet accessibility nationwide, enabling businesses and communities to operate efficiently with reliable digital connectivity.
