Through these agreements, the government seeks to ensure the achievement of national objectives in digital research, innovation, and development, while reinforcing Morocco’s ambition to become a regional leader in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Mrs. Amal Al-Falah Al-Sagroshny, Minister delegated to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, on Monday in Rabat presided over the national event “AI Made in Morocco”, organized as part of the implementation of the outcomes of the national debate on artificial intelligence. The event brought together key public and private stakeholders to advance Morocco’s strategic vision for AI development.

A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the JAZARI ROOT Institute, which serves as the founding pillar of the Al Jazari Institutes. The initiative aims to establish a structured national network of centers of excellence, positioning artificial intelligence as a strategic lever for Morocco’s economic, social, and technological development.

The meeting also witnessed the signing of several agreements and strategic partnerships between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and a range of national and international ministries and institutions. These partnerships are intended to strengthen coordination, promote interoperability, and accelerate the implementation of the “Morocco IA 2030” initiative.

Through these agreements, the government seeks to ensure the achievement of national objectives in digital research, innovation, and development, while reinforcing Morocco’s ambition to become a regional leader in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
