Paycrest Advances Decentralized Stablecoin-Fiat Infrastructure with $404K Pre-Seed Funding

The team plans to deepen its liquidity provider network, harden multi-chain settlement, and focus on core corridors where high-volume reliability can be ensured before scaling to additional markets.

Paycrest,  a pioneering decentralized finance infrastructure project, is building a stablecoin-to-fiat settlement system designed to be fast, reliable, and widely adoptable. Unlike incremental improvements on existing payment rails, Paycrest introduces a fundamentally different approach to global settlement coordination.

Over the past year, the team moved from exploration to execution, testing payment corridors, liquidity models, and compliance frameworks in live environments. Pilot programs allowed the team to stress-test routing, integrate with partners, and monitor liquidity behavior under real-world conditions. Through this process, Paycrest has evolved into infrastructure that users can depend on.

The initiative is backed by a $404,000 pre-seed round, with participation from investors including Hashed EM, StarkWare, Lava VC, Microtraction, Sunny Side Venture Partners, and experienced angel investors supporting long-term development.

Paycrest’s platform coordinates fragmented stablecoin and fiat liquidity to provide predictable settlement while enabling liquidity providers to retain full control of their funds. Multiple verified nodes contribute liquidity, coordinated through a federated layer to ensure reliable execution under live conditions. The system matches business demand to available liquidity across borders, with an architecture designed to gradually expand participation and decentralization.

Looking ahead to 2026, Paycrest aims to make decentralized settlement not just possible, but dependable. The team plans to deepen its liquidity provider network, harden multi-chain settlement, and focus on core corridors where high-volume reliability can be ensured before scaling to additional markets. By prioritizing predictability over experimental features, Paycrest intends to serve millions with infrastructure that works consistently and securely.
