FAB Launches Fully Digital Joint Housing Loan Accounts in UAE

The new feature allows users to open joint housing loan accounts, authenticate via digital identity, sign mortgage contracts electronically, track loan status, and apply for additional banking services entirely online.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)  has introduced a digital joint account feature for beneficiaries of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) loans, accessible through the FAB NHL mobile application. The new feature allows users to open joint housing loan accounts, authenticate via digital identity, sign mortgage contracts electronically, track loan status, and apply for additional banking services entirely online.

The feature is automatically available to new beneficiaries, while existing joint loan holders will gain access once their accounts are migrated and registered through the app. This makes FAB the first bank in the region to offer fully digital onboarding for joint account holders, enhancing convenience, efficiency, and security while supporting sustainability by reducing the carbon footprint associated with paper-based processes.

The initiative reflects FAB’s broader strategy of digital innovation, customer-centric services, and community impact, enabling beneficiaries to complete housing-related transactions anytime, anywhere.
