Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK)  has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the UK-based Global Centre for AI Excellence (GCAIE),  a leading organization in AI governance, institutional readiness, and value-driven AI adoption. The agreement, signed at SPARK’s headquarters in Sharjah, underscores the emirate’s ambition to strengthen its position on the global AI map.

The partnership will implement the Global AI Excellence Model (GAIEM), an internationally recognized framework that helps governments, enterprises, and innovation ecosystems adopt AI securely, ethically, and with measurable economic impact.

Through this collaboration, SPARK and GCAIE will focus on developing AI leadership and professional capacity, supporting AI governance and trust frameworks, accelerating AI commercialization, establishing sector-focused pilots and innovation programs, and enabling measurable ROI and operational efficiency. The initiative is designed to embed international best practices in AI adoption, drive sustainable economic growth, and position Sharjah as a globally competitive hub for trusted and impactful AI.
