Madagascar Strengthens Digital Education Through Fulbright Collaboration with ESTI
The initiative strengthens the cooperation between Madagascar and the United States, with a focus on advancing the country’s digital skills and innovation ecosystem.
On 21 January 2026, the École Supérieure des Technologies de l’Information (ESTI) and the Fulbright Project, with support from the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar, held a presentation ceremony marking their educational and technological collaboration. The initiative strengthens the cooperation between Madagascar and the United States, with a focus on advancing the country’s digital skills and innovation ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, the Ministry of Digital, Postal and Telecommunications Development (MNDPT) aims to advance its strategic vision of youth digital skills development and support for technology-driven entrepreneurship, promoting “Made in Madagascar” products and solutions. The initiative emphasizes high-level education and the establishment of a certification hub to provide internationally recognized technological qualifications.
The partnership seeks to prepare young people to become leaders and creators in Madagascar’s digital sector, equipping them with the competencies required to compete at the international level. By fostering innovation, creativity, and technological entrepreneurship, the collaboration is positioned as a significant step in building a job-ready, capable, and globally competitive youth workforce.
MNDPT describes the Fulbright–ESTI partnership as a cornerstone for Madagascar’s digital transformation and sustainable development, providing young professionals with the education, skills, and certifications necessary to drive the country’s growth in the technology and digital innovation sectors.
