The initiative forms part of the country’s broader strategy to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen public-private partnerships.

The Ministry of Trade, SMEs, and Youth Entrepreneurship  officially launched PROXIGAB, a national digital platform designed to facilitate access to national and international funding, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the AGL building. The initiative forms part of the country’s broader strategy to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen public-private partnerships.

PROXIGAB aims to connect SMEs, young entrepreneurs, and project holders with funding opportunities while fostering links with large companies, financial institutions, and technical partners at both national and international levels. The platform’s key features include project selection and support, mentoring by established companies, and mobilization of tailored funding, all while ensuring robust data security.

In her address, Mme Gninga Chaning Zenaba, Minister of Commerce, SMEs, and Youth Entrepreneurship, highlighted that PROXIGAB serves as a strategic lever to structure the entrepreneurial ecosystem, increase the visibility of high-potential projects, and build trust between investors and entrepreneurs. She emphasized that the platform will continue to evolve with contributions from various actors within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The government sees PROXIGAB as a critical tool for using digital innovation to drive SME development, job creation, and economic diversification, reaffirming its commitment to leveraging technology for sustainable national growth.
