The new nGenius® Edge Sensor capabilities support Wi-Fi 7 while remaining compatible with Wi-Fi 6E, 6, and 5, ensuring enterprises can gain visibility across current and future wireless deployments.

NETSCOUT® Systems, Inc.,  a leading provider of observability, AIOps, cybersecurity, and DDoS protection solutions, has unveiled new enhancements to its nGeniusONE® observability platform aimed at addressing critical gaps in remote site monitoring and SSL/TLS certificate management. The updates introduce real-time deep packet inspection (DPI) over Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7, enabling IT teams to monitor critical applications at remote locations with improved accuracy and speed.

The new nGenius® Edge Sensor capabilities support Wi-Fi 7 while remaining compatible with Wi-Fi 6E, 6, and 5, ensuring enterprises can gain visibility across current and future wireless deployments. This advancement helps prevent disruptions to revenue streams, customer experiences, and employee productivity by providing early warning notifications of emerging network issues. NETSCOUT’s innovations have been recognized by Frost & Sullivan for visionary performance and customer impact.

In addition, NETSCOUT has strengthened its SSL/TLS certificate monitoring to provide real-time visibility into expiring or mismanaged certificates. The enhanced capabilities detect unknown certificates on non-standard ports, shadow IT, or disguised configurations, reducing the risk of outages, security vulnerabilities, and regulatory compliance violations. These improvements help organizations maintain secure encrypted communication, prevent costly downtime, and safeguard brand trust.

Phil Gray, Associate Vice President of Product Management at NETSCOUT, emphasized that the updates enable IT teams to shift from reactive troubleshooting to preventative operations, giving enterprises foresight to resolve issues before they affect users. By combining enhanced remote site observability with proactive certificate management, NETSCOUT strengthens enterprise digital resilience and supports seamless operations in hybrid, cloud, and distributed environments.

The updates to nGeniusONE® and nGenius Edge Sensors are now available, reinforcing NETSCOUT’s leadership in network monitoring, digital observability, and cybersecurity solutions.
