Oman Arab Bank Launches “Tumouhi” Platform to Support SME Growth
The initiative aims to deliver a seamless experience for business owners, combining banking services with telecom solutions, legal support, delivery and courier services, accounting tools, and cybersecurity measures.
Oman Arab Bank has introduced Tumouhi, a comprehensive support platform designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing an integrated ecosystem of financial and non-financial services. The initiative aims to deliver a seamless experience for business owners, combining banking services with telecom solutions, legal support, delivery and courier services, accounting tools, and cybersecurity measures.
Beyond core services, Tumouhi places strong emphasis on knowledge development through workshops and training programmes. These sessions cover entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, governance and compliance, sustaining businesses during challenging periods, and business communication, equipping SME owners with the practical and managerial skills needed for long-term sustainability.
The banking component of Tumouhi includes a range of incentives for SMEs, such as waived online banking fees, a free business cheque book, a complimentary Advantage Debit Card, and a 20% discount on the bank’s tariff of charges. The programme also offers competitive rates on automotive loans and point-of-sale (POS) machines, alongside employee loan facilities linked to immediate enterprise registration.
To expand the value proposition, Oman Arab Bank has secured strategic partnerships with leading service providers, offering SME customers discounts of up to 50% on professional services. These include accounting and financial consulting from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Co., IT and telecommunications consulting, management and restructuring advisory, and ERP and audit services. Additional partnerships provide professional training through the Arab Omani Training Institute, cybersecurity services via Tatweer Cyber Security, and a broad range of legal services through established law firms.
Legal partners under the programme offer consultations, company formation and restructuring support, contract drafting, mergers advisory, dispute resolution, and regulatory guidance across Oman and other jurisdictions. Training and SME development services are further strengthened through the Oman Academy for SMEs, which provides significant discounts on business nurturing services, events, and training programmes.
Through Tumouhi, Oman Arab Bank aims to foster SME resilience, innovation, and growth by reducing operational barriers and providing access to expertise, financial tools, and strategic support, reinforcing the bank’s role in supporting entrepreneurship and economic development in Oman.
