Cybastion Appoints Antonia Oliveira as Managing Director to Lead Gabon Digital Expansion

Cybastion  is pleased to announce the appointment of Antonia Oliveira as Managing Director of its Gabon office. As Managing Director, Oliveira will oversee country operations, drive business development and stakeholder engagement, and manage the day-to-day local operations.

In Gabon, Cybastion is engaged in delivering digital infrastructure through the construction of a state-of-the-art data center, enhancing the country’s cybersecurity operations, and expanding access to advanced digital solutions including a digital ID.

Launched on Jan. 27, the Africa DigiEmpower program, Cybastion’s ambitious digital training initiative, will equip 1,000 young Gabonese people and women with in-demand digital skills. The training program is administered by the THEYA Foundation, the company’s philanthropic organization. Registrations are open online on Gabon’s dedicated platform: gab.africadigiempower.org

A seasoned professional in project management and strategic communications, Oliveira served for six years as Marketing and Communications Director at ANPI-Gabon, where she led Gabon’s visibility strategy with international economic partners, coordinated sector monitoring activities, and oversaw the organization of major investment forums.

A graduate of Florida International University (FIU) in strategic communications, Oliveira holds certification in Foreign Direct Investment from the Wavteq Institute and in results-based project formulation from the International Trade Center (ITC).
