The donation, made through the Universal Service Fund, coincided with the launch of a new network tower in the settlement.

Namibia’s Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has donated 100 mobile phones to members of the Ehomba community in the Epupa Constituency of the Kunene Region. The donation, made through the Universal Service Fund, coincided with the launch of a new network tower in the settlement.

Priority for the devices was given to top-performing learners at Ehomba Combined School. The initiative is aimed at promoting e-education and improving access to digital learning platforms in the remote community.

The development forms part of ongoing efforts to expand connectivity and digital inclusion in underserved areas, ensuring that more Namibians can benefit from improved telecommunications infrastructure and digital services.
