Author: Editorial Team

The move comes as the Middle East’s AI economy is projected to reach $320 billion by 2030, reflecting the region’s growing reliance on AI-driven decision-making.

Alteryx,  a leading AI-ready data and analytics company, has announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud  to make BigQuery—the tech giant’s autonomous data-to-AI platform—more accessible and actionable for enterprise business teams. The move comes as the Middle East’s AI economy is projected to reach $320 billion by 2030, reflecting the region’s growing reliance on AI-driven decision-making.

The partnership addresses a common challenge for organizations: the gap between where data resides and how it is prepared, governed, and operationalized. Through this collaboration, Alteryx brings governed analytics workflows directly to BigQuery users, enabling faster, AI-ready insights while maintaining security, scalability, and business logic integrity. This ensures organizations can move from data to insight to action without compromising trust or compliance.

A key development under this partnership is the general availability of Live Query for BigQuery, which allows business and IT users to build and execute workflows directly in BigQuery without moving data. This in-place approach delivers full-scale analytics while maintaining governance, centralized security, and performance. For business users, Live Query offers a no-code interface to access and transform massive datasets, apply business rules, and perform calculations directly in BigQuery, eliminating the need for SQL queries, downloads, or spreadsheets.

For IT and data teams, Live Query strengthens governance, simplifies architecture, and reduces unmanaged data pipelines. All workflows remain in BigQuery, ensuring auditability, security, and maximized ROI from existing Google Cloud investments. Teams can prepare data, automate workflows, and maintain consistent metrics and rules at enterprise scale, while business users iterate and adapt quickly to changing needs.

The expanded collaboration also introduces Alteryx One: Google Edition, a purpose-built version of Alteryx One available through the Google Cloud Marketplace. This offering integrates seamlessly with Google Cloud services, including BigQuery, Google Sheets, and Google Drive, empowering business professionals to prepare, analyze, and automate data workflows efficiently.

According to Ben Canning, Alteryx Chief Product Officer, embedding governed and repeatable logic directly into BigQuery ensures AI and analytics initiatives remain aligned with real business operations. Yasmeen Ahmad, Google Cloud Managing Director of Product Management for Data & AI Cloud, added that the partnership strengthens how business teams access and analyze data, turning insights into real-world value faster.

By automating the full data-to-insight-to-action workflow and ensuring analytics are grounded in trusted data, Alteryx and Google Cloud aim to provide enterprises with a secure, scalable foundation for AI-driven decision-making. This approach is designed to help organizations respond swiftly to evolving business needs while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and compliance across critical processes.
