Looking ahead, Prosus will showcase its AI and technology capabilities at several events this year, including OLX’s “Claim AI” in Lisbon and Lifestyle Assistant demonstrations in Amsterdam.

Prosus  has entered 2026 with a clear focus on execution, growth, and profitability, emphasizing disciplined management and strategic investment across its global portfolio. CEO Fabricio Bloisi highlighted the importance of identifying high-potential opportunities in India, Europe, and Latin America, while optimizing and strengthening the company’s existing businesses. The company does not plan major acquisitions this year, instead focusing on selling non-strategic and underperforming assets, with more than $2 billion in divestments expected this fiscal year.

A key part of Prosus’ strategy is its $5 billion annualized share buyback program, funded equally by Tencent and company cash reserves. This program increases per-share exposure to Tencent and other high-performing assets, complementing the company’s growth and value creation objectives. Bloisi reiterated that operational efficiency, profitability, and innovation remain the central pillars of the company’s roadmap for 2026.

Prosus’ portfolio companies are showing positive momentum. Despegar has achieved revenue growth of over 30% year-over-year in Brazil, with a significant portion of sales now linked to the Prosus ecosystem. JET has introduced a focused growth strategy in select cities, testing multiple approaches with early results showing more than 20% growth for initial groups. La Centrale is benefiting from integration with OLX, with operational and profitability improvements beginning to materialize.

In terms of competitive positioning, iFood remains a leading Brazilian brand with strong consumer loyalty and a superior ecosystem, prioritizing long-term strategy over short-term subsidies. OLX continues to lead in AI-driven solutions across real estate, automotive, and employment platforms, with an expected $450 million in EBITDA for 2026. Bloisi emphasized that innovation and AI are central to the company’s strategy, with over 37,000 AI agents already deployed across Prosus’ businesses.

Looking ahead, Prosus will showcase its AI and technology capabilities at several events this year, including OLX’s “Claim AI” in Lisbon and Lifestyle Assistant demonstrations in Amsterdam. Despite global uncertainties, Prosus remains committed to strengthening its businesses, delivering sustainable growth, and leveraging technology and AI to maintain a competitive edge while creating long-term shareholder value.
