Dr. Wandji highlighted Cybastion’s Digital Fast Track (DFT) program, an accelerated roadmap for digital transformation, as a catalyst for achieving the country’s digital ambitions and the importance of building a secure, resilient national digital ecosystem.

Strong partnerships with African governments are vital to aligning national priorities with digital transformation projects to move countries toward digital sovereignty.

Ahead of the high-level U.S.–DRC Presidential Business Roundtable on Feb. 5 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Cybastion  CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji met with H.E. Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), for a private meeting on accelerating the country’s digital transformation.

The private meeting, organized by the Chamber’s U.S.-Africa Business Center, included high-level Congolese government officials, President Kendra Gaither and Vice-President Guevera Yao, and Nathanaël Bruneau, Cybastion’s Country Director for the DRC.

Dr. Wandji highlighted Cybastion’s Digital Fast Track (DFT) program, an accelerated roadmap for digital transformation, as a catalyst for achieving the country’s digital ambitions and the importance of building a secure, resilient national digital ecosystem.

In September 2025, Cybastion launched Africa DigiEmpower, a digital training program in partnership with the DRC’s Ministry of Youth, and is expected to begin training sessions this year.

The meeting and business roundtable coincided with President Tshisekedi’s official visit to Washington last week to advance the Washington Accords for Peace and Prosperity.
