EC-Council Launches Enterprise AI Credential Suite to Build AI-Ready Workforce Across GCC
In Saudi Arabia, the initiative aligns with Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Data and AI (NSDAI), which positions AI capability as central to national competitiveness, resilience, and long-term growth.
EC-Council, the global leader in cybersecurity education and creator of the renowned Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) credential, has launched its Enterprise AI Credential Suite, introducing four new role-based AI certifications alongside an updated Certified CISO v4 program. This dual launch represents the largest expansion in the organization’s 25-year history, reflecting the urgent need for a workforce capable of managing, securing, and governing AI systems as the technology scales faster than the current talent pool.
The launch is particularly timely for the Gulf region, where national AI agendas are accelerating across the GCC. In Saudi Arabia, the initiative aligns with Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Data and AI (NSDAI), which positions AI capability as central to national competitiveness, resilience, and long-term growth. With organizations increasingly moving AI from pilot projects to production across sectors such as finance, energy, logistics, healthcare, and public services, there is a growing demand for professionals who can deploy AI responsibly, secure AI-enabled systems, and operationalize governance at scale. Saudi workforce targets under NSDAI include training 40% of the population in basic data and AI skills and developing 20,000 AI specialists by 2030, with over 779,000 citizens already trained and a nationwide AI curriculum set to reach six million students starting in 2025–2026.
The Enterprise AI Credential Suite is structured around EC-Council’s Adopt. Defend. Govern. (ADG) framework to prepare professionals for real-world AI roles. The certifications include Artificial Intelligence Essentials (AIE) for foundational AI literacy, Certified AI Program Manager (CAIPM) for translating AI strategy into execution, Certified Offensive AI Security Professional (COASP) for testing and securing AI systems, and Certified Responsible AI Governance & Ethics Professional (CRAGE) for enterprise-scale AI governance and ethical compliance. The updated Certified CISO v4 complements these certifications by preparing executives to manage AI-driven risk and strengthen governance in intelligent, adaptive environments. This comprehensive portfolio builds on EC-Council’s expertise with government and defense sectors and addresses the critical need for AI-ready skills across the workforce.
