iXAfrica and Zenlayer Join Forces to Strengthen East Africa’s Digital Infrastructure
The partnership aims to empower organizations expanding into East Africa, ensuring performance, resilience, and trusted digital infrastructure as the region experiences rapid digital transformation.
iXAfrica Data Centres has announced a strategic collaboration with Zenlayer aimed at enhancing connectivity and digital infrastructure services across the East African region. The partnership was formalized last week at Capacity Middle East (CME) in Dubai with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The collaboration will leverage iXAfrica’s NBOX1 campus in Nairobi alongside Zenlayer’s global edge cloud and connectivity platform to provide enterprises, cloud providers, and digital infrastructure customers with improved interconnection options, deployment flexibility, and optimized performance for latency-sensitive workloads.
Key focus areas of the partnership include enabling seamless East Africa market entry, supporting hybrid architectures, and strengthening cloud connectivity to meet the growing demand for reliable and resilient digital infrastructure.
Guy Willner, Chairman of iXAfrica, and Una Zheng, Director of Procurement & Sourcing for EMEA, US, and Latam at Zenlayer, led the agreement, with senior representatives from both companies in attendance.
