Baims Expands into Iraq with MedMasters Acquisition, Strengthening Regional EdTech Footprint

Bader Al-Rasheed, Co-founder and CPO of Baims , an AI-first EdTech company operating across KSA, Kuwait, UAE, and Egypt, announced the company’s acquisition of MedMasters , marking its official entry into the Iraqi market. This follows Baims’ earlier acquisition of Orcas in Egypt, signaling the company’s strategic push to build a stronger, more connected learning ecosystem across the Middle East.

Al-Rasheed highlighted the leadership of Co-founder and CEO Yousef Alhusaini, noting his clarity and speed in driving the initiative. He also praised the MedMasters team, including Abdulazeez Salam and Zaid Al-Zamili, for creating a meaningful platform for medical students and educators, expressing excitement about scaling and enhancing the user experience.
