This technology-driven approach is expected to support smarter network management, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making across both organisations.

Senelec  and Orange Senegal  have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating digital transformation and innovation across Senegal’s critical infrastructure sectors. The alliance was formalised on February 19, 2026, by Senelec CEO Papa Toby Gaye and Orange Senegal CEO Brelotte Ba, marking a significant collaboration between two of the country’s leading national champions.

The partnership is anchored on six strategic pillars designed to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. These include the pooling of infrastructure to optimise resources, the modernisation of IT and telecommunications systems, and the strengthening of cybersecurity frameworks protecting critical national networks. Together, these measures are expected to improve system resilience and reduce operational bottlenecks.

A key focus of the alliance is the digitalisation of customer relations, particularly through more efficient and responsive claims management processes. By leveraging shared expertise and advanced digital tools, both organisations aim to enhance customer experience and responsiveness while streamlining internal workflows.

The collaboration also places strong emphasis on innovation, including the exchange of technical expertise and the integration of artificial intelligence to improve quality of service. This technology-driven approach is expected to support smarter network management, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making across both organisations.

Overall, the Senelec–Orange Senegal partnership reflects a shared commitment to harnessing technology in support of economic development, service excellence, and customer satisfaction, reinforcing the role of digital infrastructure as a cornerstone of Senegal’s growth agenda.
