Infobip Celebrates 20 Years with Launch of AI-Native Customer Platform AgentOS

February 26, 2026
3 min read

AgentOS leverages AI communication models to deliver hyper-personalized, multi-channel engagement that is highly interactive and relevant.

Global AI-first cloud communications platform Infobip  is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026 by launching AgentOS, a fully managed AI-native solution designed to transform customer engagement. Building on its recently introduced AI Agents, AgentOS marks a significant step in Infobip’s evolution from a traditional communications platform to an intelligent orchestration layer for autonomous, goal-driven interactions. The platform enables businesses to move beyond campaigns and workflows toward fully autonomous, context-aware customer experiences.

AgentOS leverages AI communication models to deliver hyper-personalized, multi-channel engagement that is highly interactive and relevant. To achieve this, AI agents require a unified view of all customer touchpoints, but many enterprises struggle due to data silos and unstructured information. AgentOS addresses these challenges by operationalizing AI safely at scale across the enterprise. By combining Infobip’s Conversational Customer Data Platform with real-time journey orchestration, it enables seamless one- and two-way contextual engagement across all natively integrated channels, connecting marketing, sales, and support into a single AI-native system. This approach reduces disconnected tools, accelerates execution, and improves customer conversion, satisfaction, and lifetime value.

A key differentiator for Infobip is its human-in-the-loop model, where AI drives scalability and efficiency while human specialists intervene for complex situations. This ensures continuous learning and refinement of AI agents. Retailers and eCommerce companies are leading adoption by delivering hyper-personalized experiences, while healthcare and finance sectors are increasingly leveraging AgentOS to enhance patient care and financial services, with a strong emphasis on trust, security, and regulatory compliance.

AgentOS is designed for flexibility and rapid deployment. Its modular components, MCP interfaces, open APIs, and intuitive user interface allow brands to start with a single use case and scale quickly across their enterprise. Built-in security and compliance features give companies confidence to automate without losing control, while analytics and automation power operational efficiency and highly personalized engagement at scale.

“AgentOS is the control layer where AI agents, data, channels, and customer intent come together to decide what happens next in every interaction. It enables AI agents to operate autonomously across SMS, RCS, email, WhatsApp, voice, and more, adapting in real-time to optimize content, channel, and timing based on customer context.”

Krešo Žmak, Chief Innovation Officer, Infobip

With more than 15 natively integrated channels, Infobip is uniquely positioned to deliver agentic AI at scale.

Infobip has also integrated Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers into AgentOS, providing AI agents with a universal language to interact with third-party systems. This allows AI agents—whether Infobip-native or external—to complete complex tasks such as booking flights or setting up two-factor authentication, enabling true end-to-end AI-first customer interactions across Infobip’s global omnichannel communications platform.
