Malawi and Ghana Discuss Digital Infrastructure Cooperation in Barcelona

Malawi and Ghana have agreed to strengthen cooperation in digital technology development following discussions between their ICT ministers on the sidelines of Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.
Shadric Namalomba, Malawi’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology, met with Samuel Nartey George, Ghana’s Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, to explore ways of advancing digital technology in their respective countries.
During the meeting, both ministers agreed to strengthen collaboration through exchange visits that will allow the two nations to share expertise in information and communications technology (ICT). The initiative is expected to facilitate knowledge transfer and support the development of stronger digital ecosystems in both countries.
