Overall, the inaugural Members’ Breakfast set the tone for continued dialogue on innovation and digital transformation within Kenya’s private sector, reinforcing the role of AI and modern business tools in shaping the future of work and enterprise growth.

The Kenya Private Sector Alliance  hosted its inaugural Members’ Breakfast, bringing together business leaders and policymakers to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping business operations and driving efficiency across the private sector. The event centered on the transition from manual, administrative-heavy processes to more streamlined, AI-driven business strategies that support productivity and growth.

Held in partnership with Factorial,  the session highlighted the growing importance of integrated digital tools in modern enterprise management. Factorial showcased how its platform can help organisations automate HR functions, improve workflow efficiency, and reduce the operational burden on management teams, enabling businesses to focus more on strategic priorities.

Participants discussed the broader role of AI in enhancing competitiveness within the Kenyan and regional business landscape. Emphasis was placed on the need for private sector players to adopt digital solutions that improve decision-making, streamline operations, and support scalability in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

The engagement also underscored the importance of collaboration between business associations and technology providers in accelerating digital transformation. KEPSA noted that such partnerships are critical in helping enterprises, especially SMEs, embrace innovation and remain competitive in evolving markets.
