The success of the programme was made possible through collaboration between multiple partners and supporters who share a vision of building a more inclusive and digitally empowered society.

The Digital Media Runway  has celebrated the graduation of participants from the #DigitalStartup project, an initiative supported by the Supreme Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities aimed at empowering persons with disabilities through digital entrepreneurship and innovation.

The programme followed several months of training, mentorship, and project development designed to help participants transform their ideas into viable and sustainable digital business ventures. Through the initiative, participants worked on developing smart applications, digital platforms, and innovative media software solutions.

According to the organisers, the project was built around the belief that meaningful digital transformation can only be achieved by creating equal opportunities and inclusive spaces that empower all members of society. The initiative focused on equipping participants with practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge needed to succeed in the digital economy.

The success of the programme was made possible through collaboration between multiple partners and supporters who share a vision of building a more inclusive and digitally empowered society. Key partners included the Supreme Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Orange Jordan, and podcast platform and studios.

The organisers said the graduation marks the beginning of a broader effort to expand the impact of the initiative in the future. Plans are underway to launch additional seasons of the programme aimed at helping participants further develop their projects into fully operational startups and sustainable employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.

The initiative also highlighted the growing role of digital innovation in promoting inclusion and economic participation, while showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial potential of persons with disabilities within Jordan’s digital ecosystem.
