Spiro noted that its expanding operations in Kenya reflect broader ambitions to scale its electric mobility infrastructure across African cities, supporting cleaner transportation systems and new economic opportunities for riders and partners in the sector.

Spiro  has hosted its newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer, Anant Badjatya, during a hands-on operational visit to Kenya aimed at reviewing the company’s electric mobility ecosystem and expanding engagement with local teams and partners.

During the visit, the CEO toured Nairobi’s battery swap stations, where he observed Spiro’s fast-growing electric mobility operations in action. He also interacted with riders and local partners to better understand user experience and the day-to-day impact of the company’s battery-swapping model on urban transport.

The visit continued at Spiro’s assembly plant in Kenya, where Anant Badjatya met with engineering, production, and customer experience teams. Discussions focused on scaling operations, improving efficiency, and strengthening the company’s service delivery across the market.

Company representatives highlighted that the visit demonstrated how Spiro’s strategy is translating into tangible economic and environmental benefits, particularly through the adoption of electric mobility solutions designed to reduce emissions and improve urban transport efficiency.
