Through the collaboration, Airtel Money customers will now be able to deposit and withdraw cash seamlessly at more than 22,000 KCB agent locations nationwide.

KCB Bank Kenya  and Airtel Kenya  have formalized a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening financial inclusion and expanding access to interoperable financial services across the country.

Through the collaboration, Airtel Money customers will now be able to deposit and withdraw cash seamlessly at more than 22,000 KCB agent locations nationwide. This significantly increases the number of access points available to mobile money users and enhances convenience for customers across urban and rural areas.

The partnership is designed to advance financial interoperability by enabling seamless transactions between traditional banking services and mobile money platforms. This allows customers to move funds more easily between Airtel Money and KCB Bank systems without friction.

According to the announcement, the initiative reflects both institutions’ shared goal of building a more inclusive and interconnected financial ecosystem in Kenya. The focus remains on improving scale, convenience, and affordability of financial services for individuals regardless of location or income level.

By integrating banking infrastructure with mobile money networks, KCB Bank Kenya and Airtel Kenya aim to strengthen digital financial access and support broader economic participation across the country.
