Airtel Africa Foundation Supports Robotics and Digital Learning in Seychelles Schools

The Airtel Africa Foundation has strengthened its commitment to education and digital inclusion in Seychelles through its support for the Frontier Technology Clubs Pilot Programme, an initiative designed to equip students with practical technology skills and greater exposure to emerging technologies.
Implemented in partnership with the Seychelles Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, the programme aims to enhance digital learning by introducing students to hands-on STEM education. As part of the initiative, the Foundation has provided participating schools with robotics kits and advanced digital learning tools to encourage practical, creative and innovation-driven learning experiences.
The Frontier Technology Clubs Pilot Programme forms part of the Airtel Africa Foundation’s broader School Adoption Programme, which focuses on improving learning environments and supporting better educational outcomes across the continent.
According to the Foundation, expanding access to digital tools, STEM education and co-curricular learning opportunities helps schools equip learners with critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity skills while preparing them for future careers in an increasingly digital economy.
The initiative reflects the Foundation’s wider strategy of investing in education and digital inclusion programmes that empower young people with the knowledge and skills needed to participate in Africa’s evolving technology landscape.
