Cybastion Highlights $170M Côte d’Ivoire Digital Infrastructure Projects
The projects include the development of a sovereign data center, a government services digitalization platform, and an advanced border surveillance system, aimed at strengthening the country's digital governance and national infrastructure.
Cybastion has spotlighted its expanding role in Africa’s digital transformation, emphasizing growing collaboration between African governments and U.S. technology companies to advance critical digital infrastructure across the continent.
The company pointed to a recent FOX News Digital feature highlighting its $170 million digital infrastructure portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire, supported by the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank). The projects include the development of a sovereign data center, a government services digitalization platform, and an advanced border surveillance system, aimed at strengthening the country’s digital governance and national infrastructure.
Dr. Thierry Wandji Ketchiozo, Founder and CEO of Cybastion, said Africa’s accelerating digital transformation presents significant opportunities for deeper U.S.-Africa technology partnerships. He noted that U.S. technology companies bring world-class innovation alongside transparency and accountability, while helping create new markets for American businesses.
Dr. Wandji also argued that Cybastion offers a competitive advantage over other global technology providers due to its deep understanding of African markets and local business environments, enabling the company to deliver solutions tailored to the continent’s unique needs.
The announcement reflects increasing momentum behind U.S.-backed investments in Africa’s digital infrastructure as governments seek trusted partners to modernize public services, strengthen data sovereignty, and enhance national security capabilities.
