Kenya’s ICT Authority Strengthens Regional Coordination to Advance Digital Transformation

The ICT Authority has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the implementation of digital transformation initiatives across Kenya following a strategic meeting between Chief Executive Officer Jessy Maruti and the Authority’s Regional Coordinators.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ICT initiatives across the country, assessing implementation efforts and sharing regional experiences to ensure alignment with the Authority’s strategic objectives. The discussions also sought to strengthen coordination in the delivery of digital programmes nationwide.
During the engagement, Maruti underscored the pivotal role played by Regional Coordinators in advancing the Authority’s mandate through stronger collaboration with stakeholders at the grassroots level. He noted that the coordinators are instrumental in overseeing the delivery of reliable ICT connectivity and digital infrastructure across the country.
The CEO further emphasized that effective leadership at the regional level is critical to the successful implementation of Kenya’s national digital transformation programmes. According to the Authority, Regional Coordinators will continue to play a key role in delivering responsive support to citizens and government institutions while helping drive the realization of the country’s digital transformation agenda.
