MTN Uganda Foundation Launches Teachers’ Resource Centre for Digital Learning
It provides teachers with online and offline resources to support lesson preparation, explore artificial intelligence (AI) tools and facilitate learning beyond the classroom.
MTN Uganda Foundation has launched a Teachers’ Resource Centre in partnership with The Burn Radio to expand access to digital learning resources and strengthen teachers’ technology skills in Uganda.
The platform was launched during activities commemorating National Teachers’ Day under the Bridging the Digital Divide Programme. It provides teachers with online and offline resources to support lesson preparation, explore artificial intelligence (AI) tools and facilitate learning beyond the classroom.
The initiative also recognised 102 teachers who completed the ICT for Education module and earned the International Certification of Digital Literacy (ICDL), marking a milestone in efforts to strengthen digital capabilities among educators.
The Teachers’ Resource Centre forms part of MTN Uganda Foundation’s efforts to promote meaningful digital inclusion by combining connectivity with the skills and resources teachers need to integrate technology into education.
