The discussions focused on combining the expertise and operational capabilities of the two public entities. SOGEPA is responsible for managing and maximising the value of the state’s property assets, while TDS-SA operates Senegal’s broadcasting and digital infrastructure.

Senegal’s State Building Heritage Management Company (SOGEPA)  and the Senegal Broadcasting Corporation (TDS-SA)  are working towards a strategic partnership aimed at improving public asset management and strengthening the country’s broadcasting and digital infrastructure capabilities.

The two institutions began discussions on October 20, 2026, when TDS-SA Director General Dr Aminata Sarr met with SOGEPA Director General Assane Kasse and his team to explore areas of cooperation.

The discussions focused on combining the expertise and operational capabilities of the two public entities. SOGEPA is responsible for managing and maximising the value of the state’s property assets, while TDS-SA operates Senegal’s broadcasting and digital infrastructure.

The proposed collaboration is intended to support more efficient management of public resources, modernise public services and protect strategic state assets. Both institutions identified opportunities to align their respective capabilities in pursuit of these objectives.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a technical committee to prepare a framework agreement for the proposed partnership. The committee is expected to finalise the agreement as soon as possible, paving the way for formal cooperation between the two organisations.

The meeting marks an initial step towards a formal partnership, although specific joint projects and implementation timelines have yet to be announced.
