Taihan Cable & Solution has reportedly announced the completion of Kuwait’s first-ever fiber optic cable factory. This strategic move comes as Taihan seeks to localize production and meet the growing demand for advanced 5G network infrastructure in the Middle East. The newly established facility, Taihan Kuwait, reportedly marks the first company to produce optical fiber cables within the country.

The project was developed through a joint investment with Rank Company, a prominent construction and trade firm in Kuwait. With this factory, Taihan is expected to position itself to play a key role in the region’s telecommunications advancements, particularly as demand for high-speed internet and 5G infrastructure continues to rise.

The localized production is expected to support Kuwait’s digital transformation goals, improve connectivity, and help the nation become a hub for cutting-edge network solutions in the Gulf region.
