Talaat Moustafa Group partners with Huawei to create a smart city infrastructure in Madinaty, enhancing urban living with advanced technologies.

Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) Holding has announced a strategic partnership with Huawei to establish a comprehensive smart city infrastructure in Madinaty City. This initiative aligns with TMG’s vision of creating integrated communities that offer a high quality of life through advanced technology and sustainable living environments.

With a land bank of 53 million square meters, TMG has a proven track record in real estate development, having developed over 33 million square meters and sold more than 90,000 housing units in its 50 years of operation.

Madinaty City, recognized as the largest integrated smart city developed by the private sector in Egypt, will leverage Huawei’s intelligent datacom and green OptiX network to support various smart applications. These include smart transportation, water management, waste management, lighting, and security systems, all powered by cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, IoT, and AI.

The deployment of a fiber optic network marks a significant milestone in Madinaty City’s transformation. Huawei’s optical solution offers a reliable, scalable foundation for future urban growth, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Both companies are optimistic that their collaboration will position Madinaty City as a global technology leader, showcasing advanced urban living through over 10,000 smart lighting poles, 5,000 ONUs, and 10,000 video sensors. Together, TMG and Huawei are paving the way for a smarter, more integrated urban landscape in Egypt.
